TAILORING WAS A HIGHLIGHT - A SLEEVELESS BLACK TUXEDO JACKET, ANOTHER IN RED WITH SLEEVES AND RIBBON-TIED AT THE WAIST, AND ONE IN WHITE PANELLED WITH GAUZY GREY. MOST OF ALL, EVERYTHING LOOKED GENUINELY EFFORTLESS - LIKE YOU COULD THROW IT ON AND LEAVE THE HOUSE FEELING LIKE A MILLION DOLLARS, PARTICULARLY THE PLEATED SKIRTS - MICRO PLISSE, DOUBLED WAVE, KNIFE AND SUNRAY PLEATS - THAT STUDDED THE SHOW.Read More
This is our 3rd season with 1205 and Paula Gerbase at London Fashion week. Paula was trained on Savile Row and has moved from menswear into womenswear, bringing her expertise in fabric and cut to a collection of mathematically distilled, restrained, and practical clothes. Paula doesn’t do spiritual talk, but the ideas that inform her design go back to two threads in her background—her childhood exposure to both Amish and Japanese culture and design principles.Read More
The ballroom at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, was the setting for the Brides designer catwalk show last Wednesday night.The beautiful hotel set the scene perfectly for the evening, serving all sorts of delicious eats and Grey Goose drinks. As well as mingling with some of Britain's top bridal designers, guests were treated to a catwalk show featuring dresses from each of the designer's latest collections.

THE EVENT TOOK PLACE AT THE FAMOUS GIBSON BRAND STUDIO, THE PRIVATE HQ WHERE ARTISTS SUCH AS PAUL WELLER, MILES KANE AND PRIMAL SCREAM PLAN THEIR TOURS.
