PRETTY GREEN AUTUMN WINTER 2015

PRETTY GREEN AUTUMN WINTER 2015

Casted and produced Pretty Green's Black Label catwalk show at London Collections: Men Autumn Winter 2015 at The London Edition.

The AW15 collection was inspired by the explosion of British bands in 1960s America. The peak of ‘The British Invasion” when music, fashion and film migrated from England over to the US and the hybrid styles that were formed as a result.

AN EVENING WITH VICTORIA BECKHAM

AN EVENING WITH VICTORIA BECKHAM

We casted and produced a private presentation hosted by Victoria Beckham for more than 70 guests, where she was joined by Vogue’s Fashion Features Director, Sarah Harris, to talk through the season’s direction and references.

After a thousand selfies with fans, Victoria introduced her pre-SS15 collections – Victoria Beckham, VVB and Victoria Beckham Accessories – to a small group of loyal Vb clients. Victoria, who recently opened her first stand-alone boutique to huge acclaim, is known for her hands on approach to retail and the natural rapport she has with her customers. Regular visits to the shop floor are an essential part of understanding and developing the business.

BARBARA CASASOLA SRING SUMMER 2015

BARBARA CASASOLA SRING SUMMER 2015

THE COLLECTION FLITTED BETWEEN BOLD COPPER, PEWTERS AND BRONZE, RASPBERRY RED, SILVERY GREYS, DUSKY MAUVES, MILKY ORANGE, GILDED GREENS AND JUST A TOUCH OF BLACK.

SILHOUETTES WERE CLEAN AND SIMPLE, AND PIECES SKIMMED THE BODY RATHER THAN CLINGED. TAILORING WAS A HIGHLIGHT - A SLEEVELESS BLACK TUXEDO JACKET, ANOTHER IN RED WITH SLEEVES AND RIBBON-TIED AT THE WAIST, AND ONE IN WHITE PANELLED WITH GAUZY GREY. MOST OF ALL, EVERYTHING LOOKED GENUINELY EFFORTLESS - LIKE YOU COULD THROW IT ON AND LEAVE THE HOUSE FEELING LIKE A MILLION DOLLARS, PARTICULARLY THE PLEATED SKIRTS - MICRO PLISSE, DOUBLED WAVE, KNIFE AND SUNRAY PLEATS - THAT STUDDED THE SHOW.

1205 SPRING SUMMER 2015

1205 SPRING SUMMER 2015

This is our 3rd season with 1205 and Paula Gerbase at London Fashion week. Paula was trained on Savile Row and has moved from menswear into womenswear, bringing her expertise in fabric and cut to a collection of mathematically distilled, restrained, and practical clothes. Paula doesn’t do spiritual talk, but the ideas that inform her design go back to two threads in her background—her childhood exposure to both Amish and Japanese culture and design principles.

BYOM , NOT ON THE HIGH STREET

BYOM , NOT ON THE HIGH STREET

Last week, as part of our Mother’s Day campaign for NOT ON THE HIGH STREET we hosted an exclusive event at London’s No. 5 Cavendish Square. We wanted to give journalists, bloggers and some very special customers the chance to have a rare night out with their mums, so we organised a BYOM (Bring Your Own Mum).

Guests were treated to cocktails (a Gin, lychee and mint concoction),  canapés (the best pâté we’ve ever had) and a line-up of entertainment. Comedian Shappi Khorsandi brilliantly addressed some of motherhood’s greatest challenges and Odette Toilette gave an overview of some of history’s most influential scents (who knew White Musk could evoke such memories).
